Hello everyone I have a serious question and I don't know what to do about it.

Long story short I was in a relationship with an American woman we filled for a k1 visa, we got denied after the interview  administrative processing and all that.

and soon after that she broke up with me. And decided to put an end to the relationship. I didn't want that but there was nothing I could do.

Now I met another American woman and we are going to get married and fill a cr 1 application

My question is that does my previous relationship with the first one is going to cause any problems or hardships

I just want to know what to expect and if there's any members who went through a similar experience

I appreciate all the insights you could provide me with.

Thank for taking the time to read my post.

And she told you why.  You also have a good idea from the questions you were asked, what the problem was.  Unless you have a criminal record or actually lied in your application, it's probably because they didn't believe your relationship was bona fide.  Best evidence of a bona fide (genuine) relationship is the time you spend together in person.

Depends on why the k1 was refused- was it DS5536 or sent back because they didn’t believe the relationship was real? Or because there was a misrep? Or because a document was missing?

Depends on length between this relationship and the last.
depends on how much time you’ve spent with this fiancé and how strong your relationship is…

too many factors. But spending time with your fiancé before marriage and then spending time together while waiting for the interview is important.
your partner needs to understand that a strong online relationship won’t be good enough. But that several in person visits are important.

Read the red flag issues on the following site and tell us if you have any of them like a big age difference

https://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/red-flags-that-make-uscis-suspect-marriage-fraud.html

then understand any of those could have affected the K1 denial and this one

Any CO would suspect u r targeting American women for a visa

and i would think the CO will look at how u met and who else u talk to on social media so do not make the mistake to delete any social media site or messages as that will compound a problem / you need to be completely honest  in all your dealings with immigration

For marriage to a USC in Algeria ,  it is a lengthly process to have the marriage license approved so understand and read what the US embasssy in Algers post for the process

check the word portal on the line above and read posts and reviews from other Algerian members

1.  Have your "to be wife" join the site

2.  Do not marry on 1st visit

3.  spend as much time together as possible /  i had 5 trips all were over a month and i spent total of 10 months with husband and family for Moroc

4.  make sure your family especially mother approves  and  if u marry have her in at least 1 photo you submit to USCIS

how u met

have u already met in person

does your family approve

is she able to fulfill the income requirements

do u talk to any of the family of the USC

do either of u have children

Will this USC go the distance when u get a DS 5535 to disclose social media sites

How much time did you spend together with your ex before the K-1 was denied? Had you both met in person before filing the K-1?

When did that first relationship end, and when did you meet your current partner?

How much time have you spent in person with your current partner?

What is the age difference with your current partner?

Does your current partner have kids?

Is it going to be very hard to overcome?

It will take a lot of work on both of your parts.  As others have suggested, you will need to show a bonafide relationship.  I agree with @pushbrk, don't get married on the first visit and before and after the marriage get as much together time as possible which I expect will fall more on her as I assume you do not have a US B2 Visa.

Can the challenge be overcome, yes, will it be easy, probably not.

Good Luck!

Is there any data behind this?

Apparently that's the K1 approval rate for Afghanistan - https://www.herocollector.com/k1-visa-approval-refusal-rates/ - though another site - https://visarefusal.com/inadmissibility/k-1-visa-refusals/ -  claims "nearly 40%" are denied initially, though that isn't the final outcome.

Nope. Sounds like "LBT&MDM" has an axe to grind since that's their only post here. Thanks for the link, I couldn't find that page with my first bit of Googling! Nice to know their claim is BS and nearly all applications actually succeed.
