Civil Documents for NVC - No Name on my Birth Certificate

NVC requires my birth certificate as evidence, but my birth certificate does not have my name. From my research it appears that this will not be accepted by NVC.

Instructions are provided for those who do not have a birth certificate ( you will need to get a "certificate of non-availability") but this does not seem to apply to me, because I do have my birth certificate...

Should I then just use my no-name birth certificate, along with secondary evidence?

What is your country of birth?

Is your birth certificate in the format NVC requests or is it not?  Because if it isn't- you do not have a birth certificate as defined by immigration requirements...

I would do what you suggested - no name birth certificate and secondary evidence.

As an alternative- check the requirements for your specific country and see if you can procure the correct type of birth certificate.

I obtained my birth certificate 3 years ago as the birth certificate I had on file was not the correct birth certificate for immigration purposes.

Were you born before 1970?
Either way add the secondary evidence mentioned in this link…

If born after 1970, get the lawful change of name document.
