Hey guys. I have my medical exam in 3 weeks. And I have to fill out this thing with questions about my medical history etc.

one of the questions is whether I've ever been in psychotherapy. I was in therapy for a while because of anxiety and also just the difficulties of being being in an LDR.

could that make me inadmissible? Specifically because of the anxiety?

It should not be a bar to admission unless the diagnosis also found the potential for threat or harm to yourself or others.

Good Luck!

Hello, I read your concern,

I just did my medical a few days ago, I had indicated on my medical form that I have a seizure diagnoses and I was asked to get a medical report from the doctor/ medical institution who diagnosed me with the condition, they are to state the diagnoses, how it was and is being treated, be prepare for that, you can preempt the visit by obtaining the medical report or wait until the visit you get an official letter from the immigration doctor to obtain the medical report. Please note that the immigration medical will not be completed without the diagnosed medical report.

All the best.

You are only inadmissible based on the following;

- Current harmful behavior to yourself or others

- Past harmful behavior towards yourself or others that is likely to happen again

Take a letter from your doctor and/or therapist detailing that you are not a risk of harm to yourself or others... that will help! I would not worry :)

Anxiety on it's own does not make you inadmissible, good luck with the rest of the process :D

As others have said only an issue if you were found to be a danger to yourself/others.
Agree that you should take a letter from doctor/therapist stating that you are not.
