Hi, I am in the process of completing the I-129 form and have a question about the address history for the past 5 years. I have lived at my current address technically since 2018 to now, however I also moved for one year to the U.S.A from 2019-2020 on a J1 visa. I have put both addresses however I am wondering if it will look confusing if I state I have lived at my overseas address since 2018 but then have a U.S address that I lived at from 2019-2020. How should I format this?

Thank you.

address 1 2018-2019

US address 2019-2020

address 1 2020-present

it is not that odd… I did something similar with my addresses for my visa application. People leave home for college or a short term job then move back to their parent’s house or a family home…

were you still registered at your current address during 2019-2020? If not then as Redro suggests. I move a lot so I stay registered at my parents address despite living elsewhere, I list both addresses. I've done this numerous times on security checks with zero issues.
