Hello

My wife successfully completed her interview at US Consulate in Jerusalem on July 11th.  We are planning for her to come to USA permanently in late September, which is after our 2 year marriage mark (Sept 8 is anniversary).  Will she be automatically given IR1 since the day she enters US (become Perm Resident) will be past our 2 year anniversary?  Wasn't sure how this is handled or if it needs to be brought to someone's attention upon entry.   Would like to avoid the whole CR1 and I751 removal of conditions process.

Thank you!

By law USCIS has to send her a 10 year greencard when she enters after 2nd anniversary and has paid immigrant fee for card production.

It won’t hurt for her to remind CBP of the wedding anniversary date when she enters although it is not required.  If for some reason USCIS issues a 2 yr card, you can immediately file an I90 for a replacement at their cost.

Good Luck!
