Don't let anyone put fear on you, once your documents is ok there is nothing happening in fraud unit. If they asked you to get a co sponsor documents get them and send it forward it to them as they might advice. After they done their process and investigation they might invite you for a second interview with your wife at the fraud unit Dept. Your wife will be interviewed on phone. do not allow anyone to scare you off fraud unit. I have been there for my second interview at the fraud unit for (FPU). I can tell you that second interview is far better than first interview. Just do what they asked you to do by getting your Co sponsor and wait for their next response.

Did you take everything that proves a strong relationship with your wife? eg. exchanging emails. photos together and photos with family. You have to prove that the marriage is genuine .

Within the last couple years, the FBI has arrested a number of people involved in Nigerian Marriage Scams in the US.  Nigerian cases get a lot of scrutiny. The US consulate knows exactly what to look for in these misrepresentation cases. No visitation within the last several years is a big problem, imho.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

They will probably ask you basic questions about her life. And ask you basic questions about your life.

Then they will ask her the same questions and see how they match.

They will probably also ask you questions that related to the bonafide evidence you provided in your I130 application.

Photos more than 3 years old and registry do not prove a strong relationship.

oga stop putting panic on people, and stop making it looks like Nigeria is a bad country.. if they will issue you a visa they will no matter any country you come from their process is the same. No country is superior than any country when it comes to Immigrant visa.

If you think certain consulates aren't more difficult than others, you are kidding yourself.  Nigeria gets a lot of extra scrutiny.  What I said true.
