So we got our biometrics done yesterday. We got the “your case is being actively reviewed” message for everything. Got a second “your case is being actively reviewed” on the I-485 this afternoon. Hoping we at least get a fast EAD approval soon like L&R. I just wish they’d stop playing with our emotions with all these “actively reviewing” updates.

I hope you get your EAD approval soon. Where did you see the second “your case is being actively reviewed” for the I-485?

She got some emails over night, but Lawfully gave her the notification updates after she left her biometrics appointment yesterday, then another today. She checked her USCIS account yesterday and saw it dated the 24th, then today after the next notification from Lawfully, it shows todays date instead of yesterday for her I-485.

So you have two actively review notifications. I just got one so it might mean your I-485 might get approved soon.

We got 2 notification as well . So far only EAD received still waiting on the 485

I checked the IOE block she is in, and it shows only 1 case being actively reviewed, we got another “we have taken action” email and hers is being actively reviewed, so I hope so. That would be some crazy luck. We aren’t holding our breath yet though, lol.

Jul 27 NOA rec'd by mail from NBC Lee's Summit, MO
Jul 31 USCIS Account Access Mail & NBC mail:  Biometrics not required since already on file from I-539 B2 visa extension in Sep 2022
Aug 14 I-485 Status:  Request for Initial Evidence was sent - Request for tax return transcript for 2022 (we had sent evidence of extension with original application)
Aug 18 RFE rcvd by mail
Aug 28 Tax Return Transcript for 2022 Uploaded to USCIS
Aug 29 I-485 Status: Response To USCIS' Request For Evidence Was Received
Aug 29 Email: We have taken action on your case
Aug 29 EAD Approval Online in Documents tab

We just got the approval notice for the EAD (biometrics was on 8/30/23).

Does anyone know how long it takes to get the actual ED in the mail?

Congrats! We got the approval on August 18 and the card was delivered on August 25. Do you have USPS Informed Delivery?

Yes, I'll keep my eyes peeled.

 

When you got your approval letter in the documents tab, did the status change? Because mine still says "Case Is Being Actively Reviewed By USCIS". Seems like it should change with the approval letter.

No ours only changed to “Card Was Produced” on August 22 and that’s when I was able to see the delivery on USPS Informed Delivery. The status then changed to “Card Was Delivered To Me By The Post Office” on August 25.
