Interview Cancelled but NOT

Hi all,

So I attended my divorce waiver I751 interview today. It went well. Matter of fact, the IO said she was going to approve my case and to start preparing to apply for naturalization.

I get home to check my uscis account and this is what I see "Interview Cancelled And Notice Ordered."

Now I'm all panicky and wondering if I need to contact them. Is this something that happens before the status changes to approved or she hit cancelled by mistake?

More importantly, what do you suggest I do?

Thank you in advance

Call USCIS and request a tier 2 officer contact you regarding the status of your case.

From what others on here have said this is totally normal in your situation, the status updates on the site are misleading. You have been approved and your card should arrive in next couple of weeks. Congrats

Really? I didn't know it was a thing. I hope you're right. I'll wait it out and then call them.

Thank you

Update: the status changed to case approved. Whew!

Looks like the wait is coming to an end finally. Can't wait to receive the card

They are human and can hit the wrong button. I got an RFE update long after I was done with everything.

And Congratulations!
