Good day to you all! We are applying for CR1 visa and have received the appointment letter from NVC. It shows the steps we need to follow before the interview and the first step is to register for a document delivery. I've previously registered for a nonimmigrant visa, so I followed the instructions and pressed For NVC scheduled appointment and updated the info to the last page, that shows a barcode DS 160. From my understanding, DS 160 is for non immigrant visas, so I don't know what am I doing wrong? Also home page doesn't show any appointments.  And it says something about that the Ds 160 barcode should match the one we receive in the letter from the consulate. We haven't received anything from the consulate. I thought the consulate should send an email with appointment confirmation?

It didn't show the appointment for my wife.  As I remember, The only reason to go to the traveldoc site is to register a delivery address.   You are correct in that the DS-160 is irrelevant.  Maybe you can create another account.  Good luck on the interview.

I called them and they said they have a ds-160 confirmation no field because I applied for non-immigrant visa before so the that field is there automatically. They helped me deleted the field now everything is okay now. On the final confirmation letter there shouldn't be a ds-160 confirmation no field. Also for customer service representative you need to listen to the whole self-helped voice message and then you can press 5 to forward to the customer service representative. Hope the people have same situation can have a clue how to deal with that now
