Good Morning. Today I receive my case number from NVC in a email inquiry. but my concern is why it does not have the invoice number with it all it says

( To whom it my concern The correct case number is ACC with 9 numbers. and it says you will be notified once this case is forwarded to the assigned US Embassy/ Consulate)

My question is that typical of NVC to send an case number in an general email ?

Thank you

What invoice number?  The ACCxxxxxxxxx is the DOS case number which is needed to book interviews and medicals.

I think it is normal.  Good luck.  Hopefully, the end is in sight.

I'm applying via EB1 but everything we've had has been by email so I wouldn't worry at all.

invoice number

You won’t need an invoice number because you won’t be making an account on CEAC. I have not used an invoice number at any point in my K1 process

You do not need an account.

Go here and type your case number and select Immigrant Visa:

If you case is processing electronically, please log into your CEAC account at ceac.state.gov/iv with your NVC case number and 16 digit Invoice ID for case status and to learn what steps you must take to advance your case. Disregard the instructions below, they do not apply to electronic processing.

If your case is processing on paper (you mailed paper documents to NVC for review), then the case status and instructions below apply to your case.

Please follow the instructions you received from the National Visa Center (NVC) that list the six steps you must take before NVC can schedule your visa interview appointment. This includes submitting to NVC various fees, forms and documents. Once NVC has received all the required items, they will let you know if anything is missing or incomplete. You can also find these instructions online at http://nvc.state.gov (English) and http://nvc.state.gov/espanol (Spanish). You will find contact information for NVC at http://nvc.state.gov/ask.

I do not know what this is but it should say “at NVC” when you type the case number that starts with ACC and select Immigrant visa.
