His father is F1 and priority date was not current until very recently.

Yes, I realise that but still seems very odd to me to not be ready to go so that an interview could be scheduled as soon as PD went current. Particularly if the OP is worried about aging out.

Hey guys hope you are all well, so I completed all 3 of the iv application I also spoke with my aunt who is helping us with the process and she told me that the lawyer mailed the information to the embassy and that she was sick and just got released form the hospital so that's why nothing was done......she said that she didn't do the financial/ tax application as yet because she was waiting on the lawyer and doesn't want to make a mistake. Anyways so the iv applications was completed seeing that we need to upload our birth papers and police records on the website but we gave that to the lawyer already....so should I wait or go ahead ? And even if I do go ahead am not sure if I can convince my aunt to go ahead and do the tax papers/ financial application because she's so stuck up on waiting on the lawyer....this is so frustrating. Also wanted to thank you guys for all your help thus far I really appreciate it ❤️

What did the lawyer mail to the embassy? Nothing should be mailed to them, you’re still at the NVC stage. Hopefully this is just your aunt misunderstanding the process though rather than your lawyer sending things to the wrong place.

Study this page so you can understand what’s going on and what needs to be done. https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/immigrate/the-immigrant-visa-process/step-1-submit-a-petition/step-2-begin-nvc-processing.html

I am sure there are major communication issues.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

I believe she mailed the photo copied police records and birth paper and the information to fill the iv application

Who to? The lawyer? None of that should be sent to the embassy.
