Hi everyone,

we got our nvc case number. Going by the Julian date the case was created on the 24th.

how exactly do I check the status again? Ceac always shows invalid case #.

Make sure to input the original case number and not the Julian equivalent that you use to determine the case creation date. Also you have to select immigrant visa (https://ceac.state.gov/CEACStatTracker/Status.aspx?App=IV). If that still does not work try through the USCIS app tracker just make sure you select NVC when you are adding your case.

Congratulations! Everyone gets the K1-FTP, so that wasn't the answer to your inquiry BUT it was just in time though! haha

Does everyone receive a ftp email? I got my case number the 25th but mine is still not in transit😭

Depends on when your case was created. You may get shipped only in the next shipment if it was recently created.
You can check it by looking at the 3 numbers after the year, then subtracting 500. The result is the Julian date.

Always check with "immigrant" selected, then it's only the three letters of your embassy + 10 numbers. Nothing else than this.
If it was created now, there's a possibility you will miss this shipment this week :((

We are In Transit since yesterday too! Any estimates on how long it usually takes for the docs to reach to local embassies?

Mine was in 2 days but my embassy is quick. Maybe give it 3-5 days.

Might be too recent. I would wait to see if it will be shipped today, but next shipment for sure you will.

Our case was received and we even got the instructions from the embassy via email. Currently working on gathering the last bits of docs and filling in the DS160 as to schedule an interview and medical.

My expectations were exceeded. I didn't expect everything to move so quickly all of a sudden. Today I have spent all day gathering all of the I-134 supporting documents.

P.S. Anyone have any idea for available US Embassy Philippines interview dates?

I’m a little foggy on your timeline. Your ceac screencap says case created 23 Aug. Does that mean your case went from ‘At NVC’ to ‘Ready’ at the embassy in 9 days, and you seemingly completely bypassed ‘In Transit’?

We received a response to our public inquiry that our case was created 23 Aug as well, but has not moved from ‘At NVC’. I am obviously confused on some detail.
