Wow, you are a record-breaker!

EDIT: You don't need an invoice ID or a CEAC account. Your case will probably be shipped next week, but we'll see. Depends a little about when it was created. You can check the creation by looking at the 3 numbers after the year.

Thank you, ma’am. And what exactly do I do with those 3 numbers? I think I remember something about the Julian date or something?

Edit: We can submit the DS-160 now?

Yes, that number is the Julian date + 500. So if it's let's say 720, the Julian date is 220 and then you have to check the correspondent day on the calendar. Once it turns to ready, they will include the case creation day there on CEAC.

I only submitted my DS-160 when I got to "ready" because it was easier, as I needed the DS-160 application number to schedule my interview. But I left it filled, reviewed, and ready to go before it got to transit.

Another question (more like a general question now to everyone here), is the NVCResearch email still working to know if your petition was received? Seems like they aren't replying on it anymore.

Hi - is there any specific email format that should be used when submitting an inquiry to NVC?

Not really, but you can use the below. Also – let me know if the NVCResearch@state.gov is still working for inquiries or if they are pointing everyone to the public inquiry now.

"Hello,
On [Add your NOA2 date here], I received the NOA2 Approval Notice from USCIS regarding my I-129F Petition for Alien Fiancé. In the notice, USCIS confirmed they have sent the approved petition to NVC for processing.

However, I haven’t yet received a communication from NVC with our case number. Per the instructions on the notice, I am following up here.
Can you please check on the status of my petition’s processing for me?

Thanks in advance."

USCIS case number in subject line?

For NVC research, yes. Then also remember to include your full name, your DOB, your fiancé's full name and his DOB on the email body.

Does Nvc research give out case numbers? Or only through the inquiry form?

Only received notes as far as I know. I never saw anyone get case numbers from NVCResearch, only public inquiry.

Here is what I used for my inquiries:

You can attach your NOA2 and previous reply screengrabs.
