Hi everyone!

I’m planning to travel back to France in September for 2 weeks. My green card is expired and I have the extension letter l-797. I know I can travel with this.

My question is

If my I-751 Petition to Remove Conditions on Residence is denied while I’m in France can they denied me entry when I try to come back home in the US?

I’m worry and I want to make sure. Any help/ advice?

Thank you

How close are you to having the I751 decided?  Worst case scenario if your ROC is denied while abroad you can be detained and be referred to an immigration judge as only they can take away your LPR status.  In reality, more than likely you would be paroled into the US and given a notice to appear, but you are also able to submit a new I751 package which will maintain your status.  Are you worried your I751 will be denied?  Very few ROC’s are denied.

Good Luck!

There was an ugly case posted on reddit over the past weekend where entry was granted but CBP/ICE took the LPR into custody.

Unfortunately, OP deleted most of the content. But before that happened, OP reported that I-751 was denied.

Based on an (apparently deleted) thread of yours from today, I would not travel.
