Hi, I just need to know if petitioner can assist a senior parent to interview.  If somebody here had an experience. I called 2x to the embassy they all have the same answer to ask the guard on the day of interview.  Problem is we don't have no one to accompany my parent.  She's in her 80s, slow but still able to walk.  My problem is she gets easily nervous and may not be able to focus or understand instructions.   Interview is very soon, i hope somebody can answer.  Thank you.

Will the parent be interviewing in Manila?  Here's what the consulate guidelines say -- "Applicants may bring ONE person to help if they are elderly, disabled, or a minor child." from https://travel.state.gov/content/travel/en/us-visas/Supplements/Supplements_by_Post/MNL-Manila.html#interview_guidelines
