Do we need to provide the evidence?

Generally no. USCIS will know anyway, no matter how you answer. If you lie, game over.

No major update. Says estimated time left is 10 months for one parent and 2 months for another. Both at the same center, filed the same day. I don't think the projected time is accurate.

01-20-2023: Recommended for approval, Oath Ceremony Will Be Scheduled

Any updates now that it has been a year or approaching a year for some us? My case progress has changed from taking longer than expected to 7 months. I know it is just an estimate. What has slowed down now? 

My Husband's naturalization timeline:
08/25/10: My Husband finally posts his naturalization application
09/01/10: Text message & e-mail notification acknowledging receipt of application. Forwarded to NBC
09/04/10: I-797 Received in the mail. Priority Date: August 30th 2010
02/02/11: Naturalization Interview (Postponed due to weather and probably backlogged)
03/11/11: Naturalization Interview..........PASSED!!!!!!!!
04/20/11: Oath Ceremony

02/04/11: Civil Marriage Ceremony in New York
02/05/12: Religious Marriage Ceremony in Barbados

USCIS
05/09/12: I-130 Sent
05/14/12: I-130 NOA1
01/17/13: I-130 NOA2

NVC
02/04/13: NVC Received
02/21/13: Case number assigned
02/22/13: Called and got case number & gave e-mail addresses

For me, it says for one parent taking longer than expected and for another 13 months. But if you browse other threads, looks like approvals are coming within 12 months to 16 months, mostly. Hopefully by September-October us July applicants can start seeing approvals.

My father was born Indian but changed his nationality in 2000’s. He gave up the indian nationality.
Us immigration CEAC asked for police clearance.
However i found that Indian police certificates are not available for foreign (non-Indian) nationals applying outside India.

Does he need one or not?

Everyday I'm checking and nothing. It seems as though they have been stuck approving submissions from the end of June. Just when you think you are seeing light at the end of tunnel.

I decided to log in at 0915 this morning and when I went to my email for the 2 step verification email I saw an email was sent by USCIS at 0913. Logged in and saw the approval under the documents tab. The first tab is still saying it is actively being reviewed. Hope approvals for July come quickly.
