I just checked on USCIS.gov and found something really cool for everybody how wasn't able to file in july... I filed my papers last week but I thought all of you should see that... :D

"Special Note:

On Monday, July 23, USCIS inadvertently posted on its website a version of Form I-485 that reflected the fee increase which does not take effect until July 30, 2007. USCIS has now posted the correct version of the Form I-485. We regret any confusion this may have caused."

Good luck for all of us!

Which means that they do increase starting July 30th.

The only thing is if people downloaded the form at the wrong time it would have had the new fees in it.

If you are filing the forms starting today, you have to pay the new fees.
