Congratulations to all the August Interview letters(IL) folks for category CR/IR that dropped today.

I have seen DQ dates so far for: May 12, May 16, May 21 through June 28. This was for IR5 also DQ June 28th.

Are there any other DQ dates getting IL's today? Report back.

My dad has been DQ’ed since January of 2023 but hasn’t gotten any interview date. Does anyone have any information regarding interview schedule in Lagos consulate. Your insight would be highly appreciated.

You see the dates getting DQ's you still have a wait maybe FEB or March next year.

seem no EB-2 interview has been scheduled at Lagos Post since March '23. is your PD current?

Really frustrated with lack of information concerning what's going one with the EB2 interview at Lagos embassy. What's the use of a current priority date when the embassy is not going to schedule interview anyway?

Sadly most immigrants going through lagos embassy are Family based. Employment based migrants is miniscule.  are you an EB-2NIW or EB-2 ? you may go the route of expedited request if you can (Challenge for expedited request is that you have to contact the embassy with regards to scheduling appointment and  will  have to continually check calendar for availability of date). The embassy has been focused only on family based  for almost  8 months. Ridiculous to say the least. May see a change by september/October  through end of the year.

EB-2 NIW. From the NVC 60days notices and posts from this forum I don't think people in this category can individually schedule interview (I might be wrong) and I'm not qualified for expedited request. I do not think it is right to pause an entire category for another, some have lost fantastic job opportunities because of this delay. In time their inaction is going to create a  backlog of EB2 at Lagos.

Just saw this on a Facebook group. Someone said NVC sent this on an enquiry on their EB2 consular processing case "Only petitions with a priority date earlier than the cut-off date on the Final Action Dates for Family-Sponsored Preference Cases chart are eligible for a visa and consular processing".

Does this mean that the final action dates of the family preference cases determine eligibility for consular processing irrespective of the approved petition type?

Apologies please, this is not a post hijack, some of us are just fishing for info.
