How long does it take to receive the GC & SSN in the mail after entry into the U.S? Is there a way to track this stuff? Bit of background - we paid the mandatory immigrant fee a few months prior to my husband's arrival to the states and when completing the I-130/I-130A application he selected to have his SSN generated upon arrival to the U.S. He came in on a CR1 visa and after our 2 year anniversary. Forgive me for not knowing all the proper terminology on here. Kinda sending a quick question to the forum. Thanks y'all in advance!

Enter the IOE number for the immigrant fee payment receipt (NOT the I-130 receipt number) here -- https://egov.uscis.gov/casestatus/landing.do

No way to track the SSN card delivery online.  Typically, the SSN card is delivered within 2 weeks of US entry with immigrant visa.  If the card doesn't arrive within 1 month, apply for SSN in person at an SSA office.

We waited 3 weeks for my husband and nothing came so he just went to the SSN office and applied for it there. It came in 6 days.

We still haven’t gotten his GC. It’s been about 45 days.
