Fingers crossed, my fiancee and I will be traveling from Manila to Seattle in a month or so.

I was thinking of using this trip to allow for visiting Dubai together as she will not be able to travel until AP or AOS (K1 Visa).

My question is: Does anyone think there will be an issue with Philippine Immigration (off loading) provided my fiancee has her K1 visa, and UAE visa, CFO, and we can show continuing travel from UAE to USA?

I am a USC and will be traveling with her.

Also, has anyone been told about having their CFO 'stamped' (a 'blue' stamp)?

Thanks!

Immigration at NAIA is much more difficult that Cebu (I don't know where you're departing from). They can--theoretically--offload her for any reason they decide. I would say in our experience, though, the fact she's not unaccompanied and flying off to Dubai alone, she has her K1 visa and CFO, as well as her proof of travel (travel itinerary for herself and you to show they match and were presumably purchased together), I would be surprised if she had any problems.

I've never heard of the blue stamp on a CFO. Maybe someone else can answer that.

Thank you so much for the reply. I had no idea that Cebu is easier than a Manilla. As for the CFO, we just went onto the website and asked for a reprint of the temporary and the new temporary had an extended date on it. So I think we will use that I plan to have all the documentation, ready and check with the Bureau Immigration on my way into the country to see what they think of my documentation for when we’re on our way out of the country. Thanks again.

When I travelled with my fiance on the K1 visa from MNL to SFO, we made a side trip to HK to see a friend. I experienced no hassles. I was also using a new passport so it didn't even have stamps from my previous travels. I don't think you'll have any issues. Just try to stay together during immigration when possible (but don't insist- just inform the officer you're traveling together) and make sure she's confident (knows her rights and answers questions directly with no extra stuff) and respectful.
