How long after landing do you get your green card?

Hi,

I’m currently processing my GC via EB. It should be done within a few months, after which I would have 6 months to enter the US. Once it is done, I would make a trip to the US and then head back to my home country. I want to keep this trip  to the US as short as possible:

  1. Does anyone know, after the Embassy approves your GC — how long after landing in the US — do you receive the physical green card?
  2. On the initial stamp, that the embassy provides, can I enter and exit the US multiple times?
