They will not let you go on a holiday to Doha or Maldives?

After 9 years? Waste of time, IMHO.

Find a way to get out of Pakistan first.

Thank you so much for all the help, Mike! I have found a way out of Pakistan, if that doesn’t work I will be booking a round trip to Qatar. I leave in 3 weeks and am very nervous about the CBP. I really need help with polishing my narrative. I have my expired re-entry permit with me. I am scared I’ll confused them or myself by revealing too much. Can you please help me boil down my narrative?

Some cultural context before I continue, my dad passed away when I was very young and in my country women are typically not allowed to work so my mother and my sisters relied on the aforementioned financial sponsor after my dad passed. This person tragically passed away before Dec 2016, and we couldn’t go back because we could simply not afford to do so. I was then told that now that my re-entry permit has expired, I should consider my GC useless and invalid

What is your primary objective? Go yo school or resume life as an LPR?

My primary objective is to resume life as an LPR. My masters will help me do that as it guarantees on-campus employment and residence in the short term, and a career in tech in the future.

So the above is part of your story. The rest of your story:

* taken from America against your will as a child

* misled that you would be allowed to return before your re-entry permit expired

* lied to: your permit expired and you were told you are not an LPR

* when researching F-1 student visas, you learned you were still an LPR

But you need to focus on getting out Pakistan first.
