My daughter-in-law has visa for her and her minor son, to come here to America to join her husband and two other kids, she has been registered for the “Pre-departure Orientation Seminar PDOS class coming to America, they say that the minor kid, age 9 has to have a barcoded page even though he is not required to attend the class, I tried several times to register him but failed. What can I do?

Thanks

With my 9 y/o stepdaughter's we just signed her up online and once the counselor replied by e-mail they just ask for scans of the visa, passport etc.  We e-mailed what they ask and they sent the link for the certificate.  No actual class or anything.  The key is just establishing e-mail contact with the counselor after signing up.

Where in the process is it failing when trying to sign the child up????  They only process signups online 7:00am Manila time for an hour or so Monday through Thursday.  They have some of their servers geo-blocking US IP addresses for whatever reason which means they may either have to sign up from there or use a vpn.  Their notoriously buggy website is also known to fail signing people up and giving only a cryptic non-useful error message over something as trivial as a phone number entered in the signup page formatted as +63-123456789 rather than 09123456789.
