Ghanaian Medical Timeframes

The embassy in Accra, Ghana states that the medical must be done "no later than 14 days prior to the interview".  It makes no mention of how EARLY it can be done.  To those who have done the medical in Ghana, when did you do yours?  How long are they good for?  I saw some people at other countries say "6 months", but I am not sure.  Any thoughts?

Medicals are valid for 6 months, but your visa validity will be linked to when the medical expires - so you don’t want to have the medical done too early, otherwise you’d have no time to enter the US before your visa expires. Most medical providers require you to have the IL first before you can book anyway.

when you completed your DS-160 and did your medical, how long did it take for you to get your interview. My case is at NVC , and im trying to get some information because i case will be in Ghana

Our case was moved to South Africa, so I cannot comment on Ghana.  We have done the DS-160, and the medical and interview are scheduled to be completed in July.
