I've already submitted documents for Immigrating Spouse's I-864 and DS-260, which documents are needed to submit for Stepchild for DS-260? I've already uploaded his I-864. What other documents are required for an immigrating child with Mother?

I know I need to Submit:

1. Passport Bio Page

2. Birth Certificate

3. Passport Photo

4. ?????

5. ?????

6. ?????

7. ?????

I've already read the NVC's page, but don't see anything else than what I've already uploaded above. Am I missing anything?

What does the country specific documents list say? Anything else on there?

Police cert depending on his age? My children needed them but they’re older teenagers.

If he’s your step son then presumably you’ll need written consent from his father to remove him from the Philippines, or a court order if you can’t get that.

Thanks, he is 13 and Police Cert required for 15 or 16 yo I believe. Bio father was from another country and bailed on Mother. Never listed on B.C. No idea where he is.

OK, so no police cert required then (16 and over IRRC). Not sure if you'll need a court order if you can't get written permission, I know you would for immigration to Canada but not sure what the US's rules are. Hopefully somebody with knowledge will chime in.

Good luck.

Good luck.

Unmarried mother has full custody in Philippines. No permission required.

At the NVC stage, document requirements are the same

If the child is illegitimate then no permissions or court orders are needed to emigrate from Philippines.
