No. Spouse of USC’s PD doesn’t mean anything since this category has no GC quota. Once’s your cases is DQed at NVC, the DQ date is all that matters.

The PD comes into play in the order the schedule.  If they are giving interviews to people who DQ'd in a block, say Mar. 5 through Apr. 5, the people with earlier PD's will be given interviews first.

Your DQ date is what will remain key though.  Just because you have a PD 6 months earlier than someone else but your DQ date is a month later than that person doesn't mean you jump them in the queue.  If your PD is before theirs and you both become DQ on the same date, your interview is likely to be one of the first of the day on the date they schedule them.  No guarantees, but it's a factor.

question, so even we got the IL, do we still need to register for interview appt on ais website?

Yes.  The registration is really signing up to have your passport delivered back to you.  You can choose Canada Post or pay extra by courier.

Don't freak out if you can't register immediately.  Sometimes it takes 24-48 hours before the system will allow you to get in there and get it done.

Thank you! Another question is for Vaccines on DS-260. The security questions about vaccines we said NO back then because my wife lost all childhood record. But she redid all vaccines in last couple of months and have the records on hand now. Will this be a red flag?

No, because she will have to do her medical anyway and will discuss with the civil surgeon.  The civil surgeon will complete form I-693 and will include it in her medical packet that will get sent to the consulate.  The CO may just double check that the I-693 is complete.

Hi dear

Did your wife took all the doses ? Or is one dose fine ?

As some of those vaccines have 2 od 3 doses which has 1 month of gap . So just curious to know if all the doses were taken and is it necessary to get all the doses before medical exam . As i also dont have past vaccine records so probably i have to take the vaccines just confused about the doses.

Appreciate your response.
