I've copied a post from Milimelo in another thread. For those wondering why interviews are being changed.

Jan 9 is per EO closed for all federal business - funeral of President Carter. https://www.whitehouse.gov/briefing-room/presidential-actions/2024/12/30/executive-order-providing-for-the-closing-of-executive-departments-and-agencies-of-the-federal-government-on-january-9-2025/

I seriously can’t catch a break

figures it would impact  me

i am starting to think it’s never going to happen

Heads up they changes a load of interviews for january

my date had changed three times now

now it’s bumped a week  later
6 days  and is now a logistical nightmare

email says you can reschedule

but no option to do so on the site

Ugh!  I wouldn't want to reschedule, anyway, as much of a nightmare as it is.  Too much uncertainty!  Good luck!

Hi everyone, had interview at Consulate in Montreal on November 7th 2024 and since then case status stays Ready with last update showing on December 18th . It’s been well over 60 days and I’m not sure what is going on. Anyone have same problem with Consulate in Montreal?

I'd definitely send an inquiry at this point, just to make sure nothing was missed.

I sent them four emails and didn’t get clear answers. Is there any other way to send inquiry? Thank you

Not really.  What was the gist of the email replies? Still in AP?

Were you given an 221g or sent the DS-5535 and perhaps missed it?

Replies stating that I will get tracking number after courier gets my passport with documents. Case status shows Ready for more than two months . Was never asked for any additional documents.

That sounds dodgy!  Sorry you're stuck in this Groundhog Day nightmare!
