Use the requirements for US passport photos.  2x2, etc.  If you want to pinch pennies, you can even take your own photo and use an online "passport photo" program to tile 6 identical photos on a 4x6 photo.  Then get it printed at Staples on high quality photo paper, and voila: 6 identical photos for $1.48 or whatever they charge.  Just make sure you follow the guidelines about head size, white background, etc.

That's actually what I did originally when uploading the photos for the I-130 & NVC stage. Since they were out of date though, and to just make sure I wasn't messing up I went and got them done for my interview. At least Walmart is pretty cheap! 

Does anyone know if I need my petitioner's original birth certificate? Kind of freaking out that I don't have it, and I don't think it will get here fast enough if he mails it to me now. 

Same goes for our his dad, who is our 'joint-sponsor' (household member).... do I need both their originals too???

I'm going to Toronto for mine. I emailed them and they put me in a spot 1 month out. I would reach out to one of them and see what dates they have available. My interview in August 8 and my medical is July 4. I wanted to eliminate the risk of the consulate not receiving my medical on time.

I booked medical in Vaughan for second week of July, on the 10th. Interview is August 1, there seems to be a lot of availability in Vaughan and you can easily book through the website, http://www.health1stmedical.ca

There is option of three doctors in above website. Did you select randomly?

So a little confusion here in regards to the highlighted part of the attached screenshot... We got my wife's father to be a joint sponsor, and his wife is on his tax return, so according to this, she should submit an I-864A. But on the I-864A instructions it says it may only be used if the sponsor's income doesn't meet the income requirements. My father-in-law's income is easily enough to meet the income requirements; I don't think my mother-in-law even has much income, so do I really need to submit an I-864A yet too?? My interview is in a week so it was all approved at the NVC already. Any advice on this? Hopefully my explanation is clear enough.

if the joint-sponsor filed a tax return with spouse (No income or not much income). You need to bring Joint-sponsor tax transcript/1040 and W-2 form to interview. They want to make sure that your joint sponsor income alone meets the income requirement by looking at joint-sponsor W-2 form. In that case you do not need I-864A from the joint-sponsor  spouse. This is also confirmed by another VJ member who appeared for interview few months back

I checked the Visadoctor.ca vaccine checklist and I don't see it there, however,  I know that I got this shot in high school so you may have already got it when in high school if you were in Ontario like me.

Just a reminder to the new people on the forum:  PLEASE FILL OUT YOUR TIMELINE.  @Hawk Riders does keep the spreadsheet up to date when time allows, but the reliability of the information is only as good as the inputs and people with incomplete timelines cannot be included.  This data is crucial for everyone to make a reasonably educated guess on when they expect interview letters or when new Consulate challenges appear, such as the DS-5535.

So weird for some reason I’m missing it on my vaccine records lol so maybe I didn’t get it in high school. I guess I’ll have to wait for the medical exam and see if they ask me to get it done since it’s not showing up as a requirement on the list.
