Steps to get married in Tunisia

Me and my American fiancée are going to get married in a month. But we’re running into a problem which is her birth certificate and her divorce decree. In Tunisia they ask for a recent birth certificate and a divorce decree. That do not to exceed 20 days from the date of marriage. The problem is that my fiancée git her birth certificate and her divorce decree 6 months ago. And now there is no way that she can apply for me ones because it would take more than 2 months to get them. Can anyone from Tunisia help me please? 
do we need to just get them apostilled? Will the Tunisian government accept them?

there is no way a USC can get either of these dated withing 20 days

the birth cerificate is given for life at birth and will have that date /ours do not expire 

and divorce degree will have the US date it was signed by judge and noted in  the county/or state book

 

its just the way its done in the US

I understand. But I called a couple of notaries in Tunisia and they said there had to be a new date on them otherwise they wouldn’t register the marriage. Will getting those papers apostilled solve the problem? If so, do you have any idea how long it takes for documents to get apostilled in the US?

I think you are trying to say that  CERTIFIED COPIES of the birth certificate and divorce decree has to be issued within 20 days?

Cause when certified copies are issued, they are stamped by the courts or issuing agency stating they are certified copies with date the certificate copies were issued by someone's request.

You can apply for a service in the US and have them mailed to you. I did this and it took less than a month. also she will need a document from the US Embassy in Tunisia. It is was called an affidavit of capacity to marriage.

The notary told me that i need to translate the marriage certificate and register it at the us embassy in tunis. Is that correct? Because I’ve talked to someone and told I didn’t need to
