First, you cannot put in another person's signature.  That could be seen as fraud.  Looks like they didn't catch the error.  I might just wait and see what happens.

It was a mistake. I filed online and it’s the name I put. I thought it said beneficiary. Why did you say they didn’t catch the error, you think they would have rejected it or I wouldn’t have been sent a receipt notice if they did?

You thought it said beneficiary?  Looks like they didn't initially catch the error.  But online documents might not be looked at until processing.  They could still send an RFE, or even deny the case. Your options are to either wait and see what happens, or withdraw and resubmit a new I-130.

Thanks for your response. Do you think I should send a new I-130 of the signature page with petitioners signature (that’s me) in unsolicited evidence or mail it to them with an explanation. I’m so scared, I don’t want them to deny my case. Can I also call them? Sorry I’m asking too many questions, I’m really scared.

If you are absolutely sure the wrong signature is on the form, then I don't think the form is valid or legal.   I would withdraw and refile.  Others might disagree.

I would upload unsolicited evidence in the form of a letter admitting the mistake.

I can imagine the petitioner being summoned to a field office for biometrics and/or an interview to verify that the petitioner is alive and did in fact file I-130.

That might work.  The problem I see is that there still wouldn't be a legally signed I-130....if I understand what the OP did.   I haven't seen this exact issue before.

I have not either. Yet it must have happened before.

Ok thank you so much. Will do that. Someone suggested that I download the I-130 form and put two lines across my wife’s name and write my name in the box. What do you think of that ?

Where did you get that suggestion?  You can't edit a form you already sent.

Hi. Please I just realized I put in beneficiary signature in I-130 instead of mine. Please what do I do? My PD is Dec 2022

They may reject the form and have you fill it out again with the correction.  They rejected my I130 form because I didn't put a physical signature, but it took them almost 3 months to catch the error. Once I fixed it and resubmitted the form it took them almost 6 additional months just to view the form and DQ us, But that was during the pandemic so things changed.  They may or may not see the error hopefully they don't notice it.

I think they will catch it.  The signature is one of the major things they check, and it makes it a legal submission.

How are petitions filed online signed?
