Hi all,

Well it's that popular time of year and I am wondering if the fee's I've paid to the government are tax deductible.

So if anyone has found the information so I can look at it I would appreciate it.

I looked on Hewitt and a few other tax type sites but all I find is about work deductions or education fees.

our timeline:

Met New Years 2004.

Started Dateing that month.

Fell in Love February.

Got engaged Valentines...Happy

9/04 Started planning visa

10-4-04 Mailed application

10-6-04 Got receipt they recieved package

(lets see what the lag time is)

Well its the 16th and no NOA(lag time continues)

10-20-04 No NOA yet

10-25-04 Money Order was cashed/No NOA1 yet but at least I know its moving on

10-26-04 Hooray! NOA1 arrived in the mail today. It did go to California Service Center.

11-8-04 Waiting continues. Service center still states processing Sept. 21, 2004

11-1-04 Well the time frame moved to Oct.1

11-18-04 email notification of letter sent for more information or evidence. Hey at least I know their working on it.:)

12-1-04 CSC received my evidence and auto replied with "They will send me written decision" I suppose thats the NOA2.

12-7-04 Yippee! Got notification via email we're approved now I wonder how long the next part will take.

12-15-04 Got email from NVC and got Manila ID #.

12-20-04 Called consulate no package delivered yet.

12-22-04 Consulate lists package as received. (So another waiting game begins, SIGH!)

1-21-05 Still no packet or interview set. (Waiting continues)

1-27-05 Extreme Blessing Interview has been set for March 4th. For some reason Medical is only 1 week before interview.

2-16-05 Tick Tick Tick

2-22-05 St. Lukes trip, problem with Passport lamination on picture causeing trip to DFA for new one. Good thing she went early for medical or it would have blown interview date.

3-4-05 Interview is over and we got Administrative Review because of my divorces and them needing a 3rd copy of her visa extension for the office. (don't those people own a xerox?)

3-21-05 YAHOO Thank You God. Jane received her visa today.

Now for the exit seminar. Won't be till the 15th so that adds a couple more weeks to our wait. But almost together again.

4-23-05 SHE'S HERE! Got home from the airport awhile ago.

Thank God for her safe trip to be united again.

5-15-05 We have our wedding date set for the 18th of June.

After all the debate between a Justice of the Peace or Religious ceremony. We opted for Gods way. A Garden wedding with lots of Filipinos and friends. :)
