Hello, I won the dv lottery and I moved to USA at May 2. May 4 I applied for SSN, it's been more than a month and I haven't received the Social Security Card. In USCIS Save Check shows that: "Returned to Agency". Will I receive the SS Card or I have to go back to SSA office? Anyone recieved the SS card after case shown "Returned to Agency" and how long after?

I would wait at least a couple more weeks before going back to the SSA.

Just checking, as per OP you can track SSN with USCIS SAVE?

when u said you applied for SSN, did you go to SSA office ?

if yes, what date is that?

in SAVE check website, u said the status said "returned to agency", when is the date of the case check? is it the same day when u went to SSA office?

has the status ever change to "case under review" ever ? or you never check at all on SAVE check periodically?

 

depend on ur answer, if your case has been "case under review" for a while and it changed to "returned to agency" recently u might get ur SSN in a week. but sometimes SSA office cant do that automatically so u have to call their local SSA office ( not the national SSA number ) and ask them to "verified" 1 more time to finalize the whole process. this happened to me, my "case under review" for almost 2 months before change to "returned to agency" few days ago. they said they are going to send the card and i should received it soon

 

now if you dont know if ur case status ever been "case under review" at all and the date of the case check = the day u went there, u need to call them and ask them

You can. Only to the extend look what is the case status said. Can’t do much. Either “returned to agency” or “case under review”
