Darn I thought it was, "We don't have any televisions."

t

Do you know how many telephones are in your house? I didn't until I read the list of potential questions. Do you know what brand of televisions are in all of your rooms...I still don't.

If anyone is interested in the answers to these questions, just to help people prepare for AOS, the correct answers are: 3 and Sony and Toshiba.

I have a friend that was denied in Tampa. They lawyered up and paid a little more attention for the second interview. They passed the second time around. Personally I would have denied them as well. They were just lax and clueless.

t

I've seen you give misinformation in these forums yourself T. Do you think you should be denied for being clueless?

OUCH! Jane2005, that was perhaps uncalled-for. Or at least badly worded.

Greenslippers, to the original point of the post - do you look at pictures of plane crashes before you fly? Concern yourself with what you can do to make your interview go as smoothly as possible, rather than worrying about the extreme worse-case scenarios. Really, it feels better that way!

I've read about different interviews and most appear to be moderate and not a big deal. Knowing my luck, I'm going to have the interview from hell. Can people who had the worst interview possible tell about their experiences. Does anyone know of anyone who got denied? If there is a thread with such experiences, can someone direct me to it. Thanks.
my fiance got denied in manila. not hard to understand either. from day 1 she told me she was single with no kids. she left k-1 info blank. she was so affraid i was going to dump her for having kids she locked secret away till interview. then at very last step interviewer said who's this guy ? and she said my ex husband.

she has annulment with no custody of kids but YOU cant lie to US GOV. bottom line. k-1 shot to hell and all the waiting. now i have to go back 2 more times to get married and start all over with a k-3. so if your going to leave anything out on your PAPERWORK make sure u write it all down. or else get denied like she did. her im so sorry now does fall a little short but shes the woman i want so im going back in nov to get marriage license.

either im awful understanding or im an idiot. ????? Tim.......... denial date july 9th 2007 manila

You may be screwed. Befoe getting married, I would check with an attorney.

Plus, why be with a woman who lied to you???

i did check with attorney. k-3 should be no problem. not that we have annulment paperwork. as far as im concerned it all could have been fixed at interview but manila is a one way consular. and as far as the lie is concerned. she really feels like ######. why rub it in . we talk everyday and we talked about what happened. i can understand. she's 29. she's worth marrying and i do believe shes has learned a lifetime lesson. better now then never. Tim

This is just my two cents: If she can lie once, she can lie again. Can you really trust someone who will lie about kids!?!?! That is serious s**t. I dunno, but best of luck and God bless!

i hear ya. i welcome 2 cents. i want other's to learn from my threads. we will be fine. my friend at work is also going to phils and when he talks to women now they start with the no kids story as well then he tells them about what happened to me and guess what by day 3 there telling him ok i have to tell you something? i have kids. so if these threads can help others........ use away. if youd like to chat on yahoo let me know. im 43. we will make it. having no custody of them makes all the difference to me. TIM

nevermind. i posted something then realised I wasn't looking in the right thread. Therefore, because I cant delete it...please excuse this ramble! haha

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

my point exactly. Most interviewers, so I have heard and read, try to ask questions that are at least RELEVANT to the relationship. While I am sure this question has been asked before, I think it's pretty silly in terms of how true your marriage really is. haha

And for any one who has had their interview, how many of you WERE separated? I thought they only separate you if they are suspicious that your marriage is not bonafide? Please do tell. It is not an interrogation, it is an interview. The amount of people on the internet that try to scare people always makes me laugh.
You're right Treble.
