EAD Approved!

I just posted this morning that my EAD and AP that were pending for 1.5 years was touched this morning - and I wondered if that was a good sign. This evening I checked and the EAD is approved!!! It said they mailed an approval notice today!

Question: Does the approval notice = the card itself? Or would the card come separately?

Congrats on the approval of your EAD I think you will get another update stating card production ordered I'm still waiting for approval of my EAD so i'm sure someone else will comment.

and Yes you will receive the approval notice separately and then you will get ur Card after that it will not take so long till you get the approval notice and then u will get ur Card. and i think u will get update telling you .....

WOW - true celebration is needed - what patience! My husband is going crazy without the ability to work and I hope that his comes through in the usual 90 days. I can't imagine the wait you did - all the best to you in working and traveling!

Sand, thank you for the well wishes. I received the notice that you mentioned above via email today. So I am hoping that I will get this notice of approval in the mail, followed by the actual EAD.

Now's lets hope that the touched AP is also approved soon

My AOS has been pending for close to 3 years! This was a "renewal" EAD application (yes, believe it or not, just a renewal of EAD) that was pending for 1.5 years.

That's horrible. I just looked at your timeline... no interview notice either right? Have you tried Infopass to see what the hell is going on with your application?

Yes, we have done pretty much everything. A total of about 15 attempts (infopass, senator, congressman, calling etc.).

My case should make others feel better
