I need some :help: people. Just wondering if it's possible to schedule a Visa interview online at Lagos embassy? I found the Nigerian website for visas and was kinda curious if I could schedule one online. Has anyone tried going through the online thingy?

Discerned, we did not try to schedule online. I recommend you scan your NOA2 and NVC Letter and email it to your fiance. Then send your fiance to the Lagos Consulate with the copies of the NOA2, NVC Letter, and his passport for ID. When he gets there, he goes to the Inquiry line and shows them the documents and they will give him Packets 3 and 4, which will have his interview date.

My case left US and got to the NVC the same time as yours..our timelines are similar. On the 24th of July I sent my fiance to the embassy with the NOA2 and the NVC letter (although they initially told me the same thing they told you). He picked up both packets that same day, and has already scheduled his medical.

I would suggest u do the same thing, my fiance lives in Abuja so I understand what u mean( although he just happened to be in Lagos that day)

Wish u luck.

Thanks Naijagal. Both of the replies on this post gives me hope that he will no doubt receive the packets. I wonder if it will still be there next week, he will be going down there sometime then. I don't want him to go there and they've already sent off the packets. :o

Thanks JJ for the response,

My fiance lives in Port Harcourt, Nigeria which is hours away from Lagos, especially if by bus. We just wanted to save time by probably filing online.

Yeah, if he is going to be in Lagos anyway, I would send him. At this point, it might be better to wait on the packets. You could always call or email the embassy. They responded to my email in one day.
