I really dont know what your on about 2 dls on hour. Minimum wage is way over to dollars an hour. The only way I see that possible is if you work as a waiter or waitress. Then you do get paid something ####### like 2 bucks an hour BUT you also mainly work for ALL THE TIPS. So in actuality they make their money of their tips every night. Ranging from $75- 100+ a day.

Was 2 an exageration or where you talking about a sweat shop job wage or maybe working as a waitress?

Hey JW,

I know EXACTLY how you feel because I'm in almost the same situation. I left my job in Canada to come here to be with my husband. I am also 23 and recently married. I sit on my ### all day, go to the gym, or run errands! haha. It's awful!! Every one keeps telling me it's worth it, which it is. However, when you are away from your family, friends and your country, it can be very lonely. I guess keep on thinking positively and everything will turn out fine. In the end, you will be able to go to school, do what you want to do and also have your significant other with you. What we all undertake is a shitty process and I would say we are pretty courages for doing it. Keep your patience.

"...My hair's mostly wind,

My eyes filled with grit

My skin's white then brown

My lips chapped and split

I've lain on the prairie and heard grasses sigh

I've stared at the vast open bowl of the sky

I've seen all the castles and faces in clouds

My home is the prairie and for that I am proud…

If You're not from the Prairie, you can't know my soul

You don't know our blizzards; you've not fought our cold

You can't know my mind, nor ever my heart

Unless deep within you there's somehow a part…

A part of these things that I've said that I know,

The wind, sky and earth, the storms and the snow.

Best say that you have - and then we'll be one,

For we will have shared that same blazing sun." - David Bouchard

Which is still pretty damn low for a first world country.

There are some business institutes that don't require anything like that, I know because I work for one part time in addition to my regular job. We have many courses to chose from, and they are for CEU (Continuing Education Units) at a college in the state as well as different types of certifications, training, and corporate and career coaching that look great on a resume. Perhaps you could look around and find something like that in your area.

James didn't have his college degree but found a job doing exactly what he wants to do making pretty good money, so don't let lack of a degree make you think you can't get a job in the USA making money! He did have 5+ years of experience in the field, but he also took the time to really market himself and show that he could do a great job despite not having a degree in the field (in fact he's better than most who have a degree because hes experienced and up to date on the current trends). Take a look at your skillsets and learn to play them up to your advantage, you'll find you can get a good job!

Naturalization

MATTOB, not sure why you felt that was necessary. UK humour perhaps?

Nah, not amusing to this UK-er, anway. Pointless, random, unhelpful, irrelevant, yup. But humourous? Nope.
