I have read many posts here, and the GuangZhou USA Consulate website, but I need spicific information about "Translate/Certify" Documents.

My fiance lives in YunNan Province China.

We have received #3 Packet.

We have these Documents collected:

1)Birth Paper,Hand Written, from local government, with Red Chinese Stamp, written in Chinese.NOT a "birth cirtificate",but an offical letter from birth town government officals.

2)Un Married Paper, with Red Chinese Stamp, written in Chinese.

3)Divorce Papers, looks like a red passport,a little red book ,written in Chinese ,with photo and divorce details.

4)3 Police Cirtificates, with Red Chinese Stamp, computerized Chinese writing (not hand written),regarding the different places my fiance lived, all from DIFFERENT local police departments.

5)1 Hand Written letter from local government, with Red Chinese Stamp, regarding one place my fiance lived(Police Cirtificate?).

WHERE DO WE GET THESE TRANSLATED/CERTIFIED?

In my fiance's home village?(No).

In Guangzhou,a day before the interview?

My Chinese university teacher friend, who speaks fluent english/chinese,and have him translate, then "certify" himself and sign the translation?(I have read this one many times here).

Ok,so if I am FORCED to pay a professional to translate/certify the above mentioned documents,WHERE do I get it done?

Kunming?

Guangzhou?

My fiance's home village (NO)?

Yunnan Province?

Id hate to make the mistake of taking them to the wrong city to have them translated/certified.

I want to have my Chinese university friend do it then sign them himself,BUT IF I HAVE TO PAY A PROFESSIONAL,where do I FIND this professional "certified translator"?

Also,I forgot to add,I have been staying in China with my fiance, and I have been using 30 Day Tourist Visas, and Double Entry Tourist Visas (2X30 Days) and leaving China often to renew my visa, very expensive for Americans to buy these visas compared to other Western Nationalities.

I don't think what city it matters where it comes from, as long as its within the country, but dont quote me on that.

Where does it come from,in any city?

WHERE can I get the above mentioned documents translated/certified?

Who does this?

(Local government authorieties here in my fiances home town are not offering ANY information about this. The NEAREST big city is Kunming Yunnan China).

If I am FORCED to pay a service to translate/certify these documents,WHAT PEOPLE do this?

(It MAY matter very much the city or province where the translate/certify takes place.MAYBE these must be done in my fiances home province or town.)

I dont know WHAT PEOPLE to contact here in China regarding this translate/certify of documents.

Try your local telephone directory, under "Translators".

Try your local telephone directory, under"Weight Watchers".

I really dont need you to waste my time by hounding every one of my posts with your rude replies.

Go to candleforlove.com this website is all Chinese American petitions. Everyone there is going thru Quangzhoc and can answer your questions.

THANK!

You know, its really been tough trying to find this kind of info by just doing a Google search.

I have done all this myself, with no help, but since my fiance go her #3pack (I live with her here in China)it has been more difficult to get the spicific details about the "translat/certify" of Chinese documents, and when to pay the DIFFERENT fees.

Thanks for the link.

That was uncalled for and I have reported you.

But if you wish to play that game, try your local phone directory under "Therapists".

You go ahead and "report" me,then you will expose the fact to the web site administrators that its YOU who have been stalking and hounding everything I post with your offensive and rude comments.
