For those who filed for I-130, in my case CR1/IR1, do we pay the Immigration Visa (IV) bill before the interview in Manila or NVC sends it and mail the payment back to them? Thanks in advance! :help:

For those who filed for I-130, in my case CR1/IR1, do we pay the Immigration Visa (IV) bill before the interview in Manila or NVC sends it and mail the payment back to them? Thanks in advance! :help:

NVC will send the IV fee bill (DS-230) and need to be paid to NVC (that is, after the petitioner/choice of agent had paid the Affidavit of Support fee bill= I-864 and submitted that form to NVC), after payment, they will send the DS-230 forms and the applicant need to fill that up and submit with the necessary documents (as listed on the instructions) to NVC. NVC will determine completion of your case and then will forward your case to USEM. Then you have to check the site for your appointment (interview and medical), or you can call NVC/DOS or USEM. Then you will have to wait for the appointment packet for the appointment letter -> have the medical exam and prepare for your interview. Good luck and God Bless!

03 March 2010 - USCIS Acceptance Confirmation via e-mail and text message

06 March 2010 - received I-797C, Notice of Action/Receipt

01 April 2010 - Biometrics Appointment (Biometrics done 4/7/10)

27 April 2010 - received I-797C/ Request to Appear for Naturalization Interview

02 June 2010 - Interview schedule

17 June 2010 - Oath Taking (Memorial Auditorium, Sacramento, CA)
