My Wife had her interview on July 16th. Everything went well; the consular said she was approved. but no visa yet. We did have to resubmit the NBI clearance (July 19), and when we did they said expect the visa in 3-5 days. It's a week now; almost 2 weeks from interview. Do you think they denied her? Her NBI was remarksless; she had no offenses, charges..etc. What should I do?

Her I-130

1-16-2007 sent

1-19-2007 NOA1

2-1-2007 Touch

4-30-2007 Approved

Her I-129F

2-16-2007 resent a new package

2-26-2007 NOA1

3-2-2007 Sent to Vermont

Looks like she is on AR.

Normally takes 2 to "whenever" weeks to get visa.

You can try calling the embassy and talk to Lorraine or Sandra.

Difficult to get a firm answer tho.

Common practice for Manila to say peeps are approved and be put on AR.

Guess they don't want a crying, questioning pinay on their hands.

Sucks.

K1 denied, K3/K4, CR-1/CR-2, AOS, ROC, Adoption, US citizenship and dual citizenship

!! ALL PAU!

shes probably put on AR which would not take long like the others had.

just a week from the day you handed the NBI clearance??? if im being positive, it'll be there next week... since the CO said they will release the visa after they get the NBI... try to check delbros for update  otherwise call the embassy

It sounded that you're on AR. But since you were asked to re-submit additional documents (NBI), it usually takes a minimum of 2 weeks from receipt of the documents for the CO to do review and process the visa case. If they will need to do background check/field works, then that would take more time, hopefully in your case, they will not do that. Please try to call USEM and look for Lorraine and ask for updates. Call: (632) 528-6300 Ext. 5184. Good luck and God bless!

Oh I think I can clerify why she had to resubmit the NBI clearance; it was because she had a local police clearance and not a NBI clearance. But she gave them a clean NBI clearance after she got it

Sounds "real good" still may take a little while but that's normal.

Bad boy not telling her to do NBI! SLap!!
