It's not really wrong to kill a priest, is it?

I just don't know what to do. I don't even know if we're married legally or not.

Check with the courthouse there & see if anything has been filed. Then you can ask them what to do to proceed (how long does a priest have to file the documents, etc). You will have to pay more, so I'd definitely write it all down & present it to the church altho I can't see they would pay being a charity themselves (IMO).

Because at this point it isn't even clear if she is married or not. I vote for she is, the papers just need to be properly processed and then she can't do a 2nd wedding anyway.

A phone call to the courthouse can clear this up & quickly though.

I'd think so too...

Update! Stay of execution on the priest. Apparently the courthouse (who told me they didn't receive it) DID receive and process it around 9:30 this morning, and they sent out our marriage certificates this afternoon. It will likely get here... Tuesday. So close to the fee deadline! But we ARE legally married which I've heard is useful in this AOS...

(Going to suck to pay the extra and endure the backlog anyway. Free cookies for C. & me!)

Phew!! Sorry you can't beat the fee increase anymore, but I am glad you will get your certificate soon. I think, that's what counts right now!

I am happy this got solved!!!

To be honest, I hadn't been all that optimistic we'd beat the fee deadline anyway.

Risk of them rejecting it outright?

Instead of killing him!

Offer the priest a young boy in exchange for the MC!
