Yes, my wife is currently adjusting through the DORA program here in Dallas. She was accepted into it July 17th. The interviewer said her case should be completed by 90 days if no problems with FBI namechecks.

PM me if you need directions or have any questions, it is a pretty simple process, you just need to have all of your paperwork ready to go and interview the same day of your infopass.

It is good to read that "lucky you".

We live near Tulsa and we are supposed to go to the DORA program, but there are no appointment available (I havent check today) and make me wonder if it is smart to wait for an opening in the DORA interviews than to go for the Chicago Lockbox.

I think my question is, do you think there are going to be a DORA programm in the next months? I keep reading the news in USCIS to see something about that and luckely there is not.

We went through AOS DORA in Dallas in January this year....Here is hoping that they roll it out to include all regions [rumours about that are flying around, but nothing yet].

Ditto about making sure all is assembled correctly, in order and correct on the day of your interview as they go through it all there and then. Don't forget money orders for the filing fee and the biometrics fee (which you also pay for on the day of the interview).

For us it was a breeze!

Good Luck!

IK HOU VAN JOU, MARK

Take a large, almost round, rotating sphere about 8000 miles in diameter, surround it with a murky, viscous atmosphere of gases mixed with water vapor, tilt its axis so it wobbles back and forth with respect to a source of heat and light, freeze it at both ends and roast it in the middle, cover most of its surface with liquid that constantly feeds vapor into the atmosphere as the sphere tosses billions of gallons up and down to the rhythmic pulling of a captive satellite and the sun. Then try to predict the conditions of that atmosphere over a small area within a 5 mile radius for a period of one to five days in advance!

We are also eligible for DORA program since we live in Lewisville, approximately 30 mins. from downtown Dallas BUT we decided to mail my paper to Chicago due to the unavailability of schedule. Like many people here, we want to beat the time before the fee increases. We tried getting a schedule since July started but to no avail.

Hi,

You need to first find out what vaccinations your fiance has already had. Then you can check the following website for all vaccination requirements: http://travel.state.gov/visa/immigrants/ty...types_2994.html

Eh....relax first. Get married. Then relax a couple of more weeks. Then file. It ain't hard. You pretty much transfer information from your K1 packet, with the exception of inserting a few more documents.

I vote for taking a short break.

Agree on the taking a break. I'm just hoping this will pass the time until he gets here! Silly, huh? Good to hear it's not too much of a nightmare to file, though.
