I-485 transfered to CSC in midst of an RFE ?

Two weeks ago we received an RFE for the medical and a copy of the I-129F approval. Since we're a K1 visa no medical was required, and we had sent the I693A. I've posted about this several times. To handle the medical thing I contacted the congressman and we found out my wife's file from POE still hadn't made it to MSC. Once that happened the congressman's office could better sort out the medical request.

This morning I got the "usual" email: "Application Type: I485 , APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS

Current Status: This case is now pending at the office to which it was transferred.

The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS that was transferred to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location is now pending there. You will be notified by mail when a decision is made, or if the office needs something from you."

However we never sent in what was requested on the RFE so now I'm wondering what's up? I will be contacting the congressional office today.

I'm asking about being transferred to CSC while a questionable, pending RFE hasn't been sent back to MSC?

It doesn't say it was transferred to CSC, only that is is pending. COuld be pending at your local office still.

Yes it does:

"The I485 APPLICATION TO REGISTER PERMANENT RESIDENCE OR TO ADJUST STATUS that was transferred to our CALIFORNIA SERVICE CENTER location is now pending there."

2005 - We met

2006 - Filed I-129F

2007 - K-1 issued, moved to US, completed AOS (a busy year, immigration-wise)

2009 - Conditions lifted

2010 - Will be naturalising. Buh-bye, USCIS! smile.png

 Not enough coffee yet. I only read the top CAPS line..

OP - that is weird. Mine wasn't transferred until they receive my RFE response.

UPDATE: we received a receipt regarding the I-485 transfer to CSC., with this first sentence, "This is to advise you that in order to speed up processing we have transferred the above case to the following USCIS office for processing:" ...CSC

Still wondering about the earlier RFE for the medical and fiancee visa approval I called the congressman's office again...response was that the medical from POE finally caught up with the temp file at MSC and now CSC. As for the I-129F copy, wait until you hear further from CSC, it at all.

Otherwise, for some strange reason it appears the RFE has been self-corrected....odd, very odd. From all I've read here, this is out of the ordinary.
