It's not uncommon to receive these letters on different days. When did you receive the biometrics notice and access code? If it was in the last few days, your extension letter should soon follow.

Do you they are just taking time to process through USPS?

"Any other address" means any other address other than where you currently reside. Your current address should have already been entered in another section.

@igoyougoduke you need both the case number and online access code to add the ROC case to your USCIS online account. Must be some new security feature to prevent people from adding other people's case numbers to their accounts.

I didn't get an access code, if you enter your USCIS Online Account number with your application it'll get automatically added into your account. Worked quite well. :)

Incidentally I just received my physical biometrics appointment notice today, a good while after the extension letter, although both notices have the same date on them.

How much time do they give you to do the biometrics? (assuming it's for the fingerprints you go through with a designated security business like in Canada)

@Kai G. Llewellyn odd, I used to be able to add case numbers to my USCIS online account (ex. I-130, I-485) but for some reason the website would not allow me to do the same for I-751 unless I had both the case number AND online access code. Must be some kind of transition to a new system.

I didn't manually add it to my account, USCIS automatically added it, probably by using the online account number I entered on the form itself. I presume the receipt number + access code method is for those people who didn't do that?

Not long! My biometrics are on Monday and the letter was received today, so around 7 days notice. I knew the date on the 16th though as the notice was entered into my online account, USPS just took a long time to deliver it.

Oh, now I understand, you entered an online account number on the I-751 form before you mailed in your package. I didn't.

I did not either and I had an online account. I've never understood what was that number (only had a case# with the I130).

Is there still a way to check the status of the I751 another way or is this going to be a problem?

You can check the status on their site without a login using the receipt number. In terms of getting an access code and if you don't have one, I think you'll have to contact them to request it. I'm not sure how difficult they are about issuing those.
