Pregnant U.S. citizen of Nigeria citizen

Is it possible for a visa to be there for the birth of your child ? For father and his mother , mother has strong ties to home country.. father doesn’t except for his family and small plot of land with home in it.  No other visas have been filed because yet due to technicality reasons but a spousal visa will be filed after we marry in his home country. Unborn child is biologically his and he wouldn’t want to ruin his chances of permanently being here so he would go back after a few months and not overstay his visa. 
 

how should one file? What should they file? The wait time seems to be longer than the pregnancy will be

Always you can try, but get a tourist visa with a strong tie to usa it is very difficult.

Nigerian citizen has moreties to usa that to his country. Having a child and a girlfriend in usa make strong ties, so his chance to get the visa is cery low or almost zero

Biometric reused june 28, 2021

N-400 online April 27, 2022 base on 3 years rule, biometric reused.

N-400 interview on December 12, 2022 combo interview i-751. Approved.

January 11, 2023 oath ceremony, Indianapolis. After that done with uscis😂🤭🤫

I took my oath ceremony in Indianapolis, it was a nice ceremony, where people from 35 coutry become american citizen.

01/11/2023 officially done with uscis :)

January 13, 2023 apply for us passport.( regular service).

Is it possible?  Technically, yes.  Is it likely?  No.  There are several factors which are not in his favor.

In summary, it took 13 months for approval of the CR-1.  It took 44 months for approval of the I-751.  It took 4 months for approval of the N-400.   It took 172 days from N-400 application to Oath Ceremony.   It took 6 weeks for Passport, then 7 additional weeks for return of wife's Naturalization Certificate..

I think 90%+ people who were issued a B2 in this situation would not return home.  Thus, I think his chances for a B2 are very, very slim.

Wait time for interview-required visitor visa is 597 days in Lagos.  I guess it would have to requested as an emergency.

He isn't getting any B-2. This plot is as old as Methuselah

Immigration journey is not: fast, for the faint at heart, easy, cheap, for the impatient nor right away. If more than 50% of this applies to you, best get off the bus.

They can ask for an emergency appointment but do not see how this case fits the requirements. Aside from that he does not sound an ideal applicant for a B.
