Hello,

Last year I got married, my wife is US citizen and we got approval for I 130 and now I am filling my DS 260 form. **My question is. In 2020 I applied for Canada visitor visa which got rejected due to misrepresentation by my lawyer on my employment history and I got ban from Canada for 5 years. I never get to know what my lawyer did with my Canada visitor visa file. I never been to Canada. Now I am filling my DS 260 do I have to mention regarding this issue and what should I have to mention. In DS 260 form their is is question ( Have you ever been removed or deported from any country?

Sounds like the answer is No

US and Canada share information btw.

“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”

there is one more question (Have you failed to attend a hearing on removability or inadmissibility within the last five year?) is anything to declare here?

You would know if you have been removed or deported

Answer no, because that is the truth.  It's also true that the US and Canada share information, BUT Canada is NOT the USA.  If the misrepresentation and ban from Canada comes back to bite you, so be it.  It does not change what the true answers to questions are on the DS260.

For future reference, you do not ever need a "lawyer" to apply for a visitor/tourist visa.  It's a straight forward process that requires telling the truth, same as a happy life does. Just tell the truth.
