Thank you for your answers, so will there be a lot of people going to interview every day?  Need to line up an hour or two early?  Or as suggested, just arrive five minutes early?

It depends on the country.

We arrived to ours about an hour before because we had to wait in line to get in, pass security, then there were about two other windows we needed to check in at before we were actually "waiting" to be called.

Do you know the situation at the Montreal consulate?  Will there be many people queuing up in advance every day?

I do not.  Our country was Argentina.  But, I am sure someone will chime in soon for Canada.

The Consulate security in Montreal won't let you in until no more than about 10 minutes before your appointment, typically.  They will ask to see your interview letter to verify the time.

Thank you, if we arrive at the Montreal Consulate ten minutes earlier, will there be many people already queuing there in advance? Still not many people, no one in line
