Hope the is gone by now or goes away soon.

I always hated the open houses at the school. They are 10x worse in the US then back in Canada, well at least my two locations of residence. I'm happy we home school. I haven't even started yet. Maybe Sept 11 we will get it going. Face it I just hate US schools :P

Going to get an MRI tomorrow on my neck. Been in pain way too much and my right shoulder/arm is not the same. I can't even pull the lawn mower cord worth beans. I just have no strength.

Thrilling Friday non-GS/ES report, see man:

Beyond all hope and objective expectation, our back had recovered by wake-up, effective HSM man.

We did not get on the road until Many (2x2x2 +2+1) a.m., important phone calls to make man.

The first GS was almost an hour away, only route worth pursuing man.

After last ES (at nearly Many p.m.), desired lunch, unfed we man.

Found unassuming Chinese restaurant in run-down strip center, not a buffet man.

Seemed to have good TripAdvisor reviews, therefore try we man.

We ordered pepper steak, fried rice, and egg roll, ingest we man.

Egg roll was the best that we'd ever consumed, ingest we man.

Quite filling, conclude we man.

Robust take-out business occurring the whole time, observe we man.

Cost = $Many ($2x2x2 +2+1 + change), deal man.

Returned to casa at half-past Many (2+2) p.m., exhausted we man.

Treated & lunched demanding miu, service miu we man.

Went straight for a siesta, zzz we man.

Awoke in time to mow front lawn before dark, remedy rather scraggly look man.

One sweatband consumed, should have been 2 man.

Off-cooled under ceiling fan thereafter before shower, perspirational we man.

Din-din was onecan Costco chunk roast beef, ingest we man.

Brushed/played with eager miu, able to bend down to do so today we man.

Have itineraried 2 GSs and 2 ESs for Saturday, unsure of our motivation man.

Party with the rubias imminent, cavort we man.

Thrilling Saturday non-GS/ES report, see man:

We were quite busy, si man.

First the GS, then personal delivery of multiple Pre-Owned Toilet Seats*, favor by we man.

     *buy yours today, si man!

Then the ES, q.v. above man.

Then a nearby legacy supermarket for which we had coupons, financially savvy we man.

Then to the casa, pantry everything man.

Then to legacy supermarket #2 to procure items for Mama T-B., by request of senior she man man.

Then delivery to Mama T-B., grateful but lecture-ful senior she man.

Then to the casa, decompress momentarily man.

Then got our hairs cut, long overdue man.

Stupid place wouldn't try our coupon code for a second discount, grrrrRRRR man.

Then to the casa, treat/lunch demanding miu and shower we man.

Breakfast/lunch/din-din was toucans of bean-with-bacon** soup, ingest we man.

**good luck finding any bacon, probably just flavoring man

Major siesta thereafter, zzz we man.

Awakened to find Uncle T-B.'s grocery list, needy senior he man.

Perilously close to Uncle T-B.'s bedtime, how can anyone go to bed that early man.

Called Uncle T-B. to arrange for half the grocery trip this eve, agreeable senior he man.

Groceried at Dollar General, quickest in-&-out place within range man.

Got perhaps one-Many'rd of items, dry/canned goods man.

Delivered to Uncle T-B., grateful senior he man.

We shall get the rest on Monday, Sunday hosed per below man.

Sunday at noon is delayed anniversary lunch for Cousins T-B., oh great man.

They are catering in Mediterranean food, of all the possible disgusting cuisine*** man.

***containing much cilantro, noisome putrid poisonous vilest of substances man

(Mama T-B. and we shall separately eat something before going, prudent man.)

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. and Mini-B. have no problem with Mediterranean, no man****.

****we have obviously failed as a parental unit, sigh man

We will stay for as long as Mama T-B. wants to, fortunately no party-animal senior she man.

Nevertheless, this will hose the day for laundry and prepping for Two Guys week, bummer man.

Plus, we must shave on a Sunday, perish yet another thought man.

If we were in charge of All Things, nothing formal would ever be scheduled on a Sunday, no man.

We had each queried MIni-B. about skool hoamwurk, disclaimed every time man.

These 2 assignments were the last straw, brewing a long time and now Rubicon crossed man.

It was agreed that ex-Mrs.-T-B. would suspend Mini-B.'s phone service, distraction for too long man.

Mini-B. reacted as expected, upset wee man.

"How am I expected to remember everything from Many (2x2x2 -1) class periods, huh man?" quoth wee man man.

"I attend skool for Many (2x2x2 -1) hours a day and then have to do even more when at the casa, unfair man!" quoth wee man man.

"Just wait until later in life, si man," responded we man (among much else) to wee man man.

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. read Mini-B. the riot act by phone, AT&T lines all vulcanized man.

Phone will go off sometime on Tuesday, predict we man.

Mini-B. will have to develop and adhere to a schedule accommodating his skoolwurk, only remedy man.

We are exhausted, need zzz we man.

Party with the rubias postponed till tomorrow night, cavort later we man.

Scintillating Tuesday repartee, yawn man.

Thrilling Tuesday report, see man:

Hoo boy, what a day man.

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. called us to say that she out-chickened on canceling Mini-B.'s phone, :girlwerewolf2xn: man.

We agreed to a caucus with Mini-B. in evening, agree we man and ex-she man man.

Skool-dropped Mini-B. and raced back to casa to clean up, see next man.

Took Uncle T-B. to routine doctor caucus, we chauffeur senior he man man.

Got there on time and waited waited waited, too early for schedule to be blown man.

Interview from Physician's Assistant student, sharp chica man.

Doc gave usual excellent appointment, impressive man.

Uncle T-B. very happy with caucus, rare result man.

We now have to contact Medicare and another doc, Uncle T-B. a full-time job man.

Took Uncle T-B. to financial house to unlock his on-line privileges, hosed password man.

Lunched at Arby's WUOC, financially savvy we man and generous senior he man.

Returned Uncle T-B. after Many-hour saga, pleased senior he man.

Stayed to ensure good working order of new financial password, keep it from being hosed yet again man.

Ran Many (2+1) errands in same vicinity, convenient man.

Returned to casa at 2 p.m., exhausted we man.

Skool-retrieved Mini-B., overheated* wee man man.

*from wearing his stupid hoodie in Many00-degree weather, :bonk: man

Din-din was scalloped potatoes + chicken sausages from Costco, ingest Two Guys man.

The 2 components of this new din-din were bought on sale, financially savvy we man.

Sausages too spicy, usual failing of Costco products man.

Mini-B. liked the potatoes, add to later menus man.

Mini-B. upset at not going to ex-Mrs.-T-B.'s casa to play new video game, first day of release man.

We stalled him till ex-Mrs.-T-B. arrived, unhappy wee man.

Mini-B. went into his room with his phone, sullen wee man.

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. arrived, finally man.

No answer from calling Mini-B., investigate we man.

Mini-B. sound asleep on bed with phone on, first time ever man.

We managed to awaken Mini-B., groggy wee man.

We and ex-Mrs.-T-B. told him that we were removing his phone privileges, tearful wee man.

Considerable back-&-forth, reasoning worthless against emotional response man.

Finally agreed to let Mini-B. go with ex-Mrs.-T-B. to play new game for an hour, compromise man.

They returned before then, game-release delayed for 2 days man.

Mini-B. somewhat calmer, relief man.

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. stayed a few minutes longer, stay ex-she man.

Mini-B. didn't Many00% dismiss the idea of a new schedule to ensure completion of skoolwurk, no man.

However, Mini-B. didn't acknowledge the value of skoolwurk, no man.

Mini-B. consented to feed miu, impatient miu man.

We permitted Mini-B. to go to bed with phone, one last night man.

Mini-B. agreed not to be stupid with it, obviously exhausted wee man.

We shall see what results tomorrow and onward, see we man.

Sorry about the struggles with Mini-B. He's at the age where the school/teachers don't hold their hands anymore. It will be a rough start but he won't be the only one having to learn to take accountability for their actions.

Did the phone ever get turned off? If not you should be able to use some of the parental controls to limit his activity. Kids do very much get addicted to their electronics and it can very much cause issues.

I haven't started school here yet with the kids. Maybe next week. Once that starts I'm thinking of restricting games until after supper. I'm hoping the Zoo will be doing a homeschool day like they asked in our HS group. It would be nice as it is pretty close to us.

I've been fighting with the MRI ppl because now they are saying that I have no coverage. WEll I do and they even sent in the darn pre otherization to make sure it was covered. But sure enough my appointment was Sept 1st and they said my coverage ended Aug 31st. :girlwerewolf2xn:

I called the insurance and she cannot see anything from the hospital about them even trying to submit the claim nor any record of them calling the insurance. Which the insurance said they should have done to begin with. So according to my ins. I have never been out of coverage since I was added to it in 2008. Not even a single second. She said it is most likely a gitch and gave me a reference # to give to the hospital. As they where already close when we were talking or they ins. would have called them right then.

So now I want to get some unsightly veins removed and of course I get a call about my insurance again. I guess I need to call them tomorrow. :girlwerewolf2xn:

I think I need to look at medical tourism and get some things done out of the country with all this baloney!

We don't allow most of the things the kids are on these days. They can watch certain things on YT. No Whats App, Twitter, FB, SnapChat, instagram or anything like those. They have the ability to chat with friends and family but that is also limited. Big brother out of state gets free range for games and chatting but the rest it is very limited.

Depending on the phone the Ex-Mrs should be able to google stuff for blocking and restricting time on the phone even. Our kids don't have an actual working phone. They have a tablet and I set the internet to go off at 11pm and not turn back on until 7am. The Tornado is a night owl and thank goodness we HS or it would be rough for her as she just cannot sleep at night worth beans.

Ya computer glitches are not fun when they want to stick you with another 2k for a test they said was covered.

I'm going to be vain against those ugly veins alright. They have to go and the sooner the better. Next will be whiter teeth. I've never have had nice white teeth, too many antibiotics as a child.

I keep trying to tell the Hillbilly about going out of the country but he's a stick in the mud. I have a friend who went twice to DR for all sorts of things. I don't want what she went for but I liked her results and the care/aftercare too.
