Life is good.  I'm hanging out here in the Keys having a drink and watching Earth Wind and Fire on PBS.  

The house is wide open and haven't had to use the ac since we arrived Wednesday.  The entire 4 panel sliding door is open out to the porch overlooking the canal.  Watching the boats and manatee go by.  The new dog really likes this place too.

 

We don't want to go back tomorrow and work this coming week..... Which got us into some serious talk about retirement.  Been thinking about and looking forward to this for a long time, and maybe this will be the year.  Was hoping I'd have someone to take over the practice and did have one guy that we have known for a long time said he wanted it, but backed out a few months ago.  Talking with a few classmates that are also having a hard time finding someone to take over their practice.  May just have to close the doors, and if that's the case will probably do it in September.  A lot to think about and a lot of details to work out, but I'm ready.

It's been nice here too. Doors open tortoise out walking around eating weeds.

Thrilling Saturday non-GS/ES report, see man:

 

Called Costco Food Court after exiting last ES, call we man.

We phone-ordered a 'roni 'za, bigger than and half the price of anywhere else man.

Made it there within Many minutes of estimated 'za readiness, timely we man.

Gassed the dehydrated T-B.-mobile first, running on fumes man.

Found parking with great difficulty and fought to enter, madhouse man.

'Za was being sliced when we arrived, perfect timing man.

 

Lunch/din-din (and breakfast for us) was the Costco 'roni 'za, ingest Two Guys man.

Only 2 slices were left after half an hour, stuffed Two Guys man.

A nice siesta was then taken, zzz we man.

 

Miu slept through our return to casa and the consumption of the 'za, zzz miu man.

 

Movie night was Beverly Hills Cop, excellent and watch Two Guys man.

Many (2+2) bowls of Costco popcorn were consumed, ingest Two Guys man.

This tallies to Many (2x2x2 +2+2+1) for the week, quota comfortably met man.

 

Miu is now wide awake, active, and demanding, Serve Me Daddy miu man.

 

Visit to Mama T-B. on Sunday, obligatory man.

Then try to arrange caucuses with chicas for the week, caucus we man.

No party with the rubias tonight, no cavort we man.

And that was/is our thrilling Saturday, report we man.

Visited Mama T-B., Two Guys visit senior she man man.

Found with a shock that Subway coupons HAD come out this week,  man.

We fortunately found our monthly supply by rooting in the mailroom trash bins, relieved we man.

We brought them back to Mama T-B.'s flat and neat, no creases for easy cutting man.

Mama T-B. promptly folded them, impossible to cut more than one sheet at a time after that man.

We took umbrage, righteously outraged we man.

An argument ensued, yell senior she man at we man man.

Mama T-B. then yelled at us for yelling, figure out THAT logic man.

 

After Mini-B. helped Mama T-B. with some stuff, Mama T-B. seemingly calmed down, yeah right man.

Mama T-B. sent us downstairs to buy a lunch for Mini-B., standard practice and ingest wee man man.

We got 2 leftover salads in Mama T-B.'s fridge, ingest we man.

We also got Mini-B.'s uneaten stuff, further ingest we man.

When we left, Mama T-B. hurled insults at us in front of Mini-B., good grief man.

It was a silent drive back to the casa, awkward man.

 

All Many (2+1) laundry loads were conquered, victorious we man.

Din-din was the 2 remaining slices of Costco 'za, ingest Two Guys man.

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. came over and promptly fell asleep on the recliner, standard for ex-she man man.

Ex-she man eventually left with wee man, end of Two Guys week man.

 

Dished/must de-dish the warsher, domestic we man.

Needy miu wonders what happened to Big Bruddah, this happens EVERY week man.   

 

Party with the rubias tonight, cavort we man.

Probably meeting 2 chicas sometime this week, conclude we man.

Must collect Uncle T-B.'s tax stuff for CPA, taxing experience man.

And that was/is our thrilling Sunday, report we man.

The weather was perfect over the weekend.  Quick pressure wash of the gross patio in the afternoon followed by the invasion of Kid1's friends for a birthday celebration.  We have an Italian, wood burning forno oven, so Neapolitan style pizza was on the menu.  It's always a hit with the adults and the teenagers alike.
