I'll look around me and see if there are any. I can pick it up and ship it. I'll test out prices before going that route though. I would hate for the shipping to cost more then getting something new.

Scintillating Tuesday repartee, yawn man.

-----

Thrilling Tuesday report, see man:

We had several errands, run them we man.

Beforehand, lunch was onecan of Progreso (light) chicken noodle soup*, ingest we man.

*probably bought at a long-ago ES, financially savvy we man

Went first to favorite small thrift shop, visit we man.

Donated an item and donated accumulated plastic bags, always appreciated man.

Found Haggar dress slacks at half-price, under $Many man.

Went second to metal-reclamation place, bring "brass" lamp we man.

"Brass" lamp turned out to be magnetic metal, don't take it there man.

This was bought at the recent online ES auction, :ranting: we man.

However, it cost us only $Many, and we can either keep it or (more likely) donate it, si man.

Went Many'rd to favorite big thrift shop on discount day, visit we man.

Very disappointed in selection & prices of Mini-B. pants, what's up with that man.

Got Mini-B. 2 pants, 2 shirts, & 2 underwear, can't leave empty-handed man.

Got ourself 2 pants & at least one underwear, at least there was that man.

With discount, we saved $Many ($2x2x2x2), financially savvy we man.

Went Many'th to Costco Business Center, visit we man.

Went for 2 items and left with Many (2+2+1), oh well man.

Mam ma'am really needs to visit, si man and mam ma'am man.

We can coordinate a mutual visit, party time man.

They're open Mon-Sat from Many (2+2+2+1) a.m. till Many (2+2+2) p.m., si man.

They're open Sun from Many (2x2x2) a.m. till Many (2+2) p.m., si man.

Bring Mr. mam ma'am man, see Mr. Mam ma'am man we man, si mam ma'am**.

**we have a headache after this sentence, ouch man

Returned quite sweatily to casa to demanding miu, Treat and Lunch me now Daddy man.

Serviced demanding miu, got stuff refrigerated just in time, and showered, Texas weather Many man.

Din-din was 2 ham sandwiches, indict them and ingest we man.

A nice siesta was taken thereafter, zzz we man.

Thanks to Ontarklar, we are zeroing in on a new and working miu-box, road trip man.

Meanwhile, our current one is sitting there as though it were a scoop box, manual we man.

Mini-B. just called, wee man call we man man.

He and 2 amigos were supposed to go to the mall today, Many Wee Men man.

However, they got confused as to the date, see man:

Mini-B. told them on Saturday, "Next Tuesday, we go to the mall, see man," :bonk: man.

Amigos thought that this meant Tuesday next week, :bonk: man.

Furthermore, Mini-B. thinks that he & they will be dropped at the mall unsupervised, dream on man.

We will come to a firm agreement with ex-Mrs.-T-B. about this, no way in Hades man.

We hope that ex-she man will handle all this, like herding cats man.

We would have several major coronary events if we were in charge, :girlwerewolf2xn: man.

Ex-Mrs.-T-B., the Rojo, daughters-of-Rojo, and Mini-B. drive to Oklahoma on Thursday, road trip man.

They're going to visit the Rojo's parents, how come man.

Mini-B. is utterly thrilled about this, prefer to vegetate playing video games wee man man.

Therefore, Wednesday will be Two Guys Eve, Two Guys man.

A small rant.

We'd like to go visit the UK. In-laws not in best health, need to check on them as best we can. Unfortunately due to work it can only be a week, so a week is better than nothing. He told me to check into this earlier this year, and I said unless we become suddenly made of money the prices were not doable, it would be better to go late in the year. He stewed. I said, well, I don't want to get everyone's hopes up, so please don't say it's anything definite. (Guess what, they thought it was definite). Now into spring, he told me he had signed on to some event in the UK, at a specific date and time in the summer, and that he was sure we could definitely make it and cram that into that week timeframe, even better we'd come in a day early and knock on their door and surprise them all. I told him he was nuts (visions of his mom in her bathrobe and rollers totally unprepared going "what the bloody hell is this?!"), and once again he'd need to check out the prices because I wasn't going to make such a hefty purchase without his approval and that by committing to something in that timeframe meant too many things could go wrong and the price was increasing.

Whelp, I was quite right, and by the time he looked into it not only are the prices ridiculous, but there is a) a lack of hotels which would then require more expensive hotels and rental cars b) a lack of seats on the plane to sit on and a c) a 6hr Heathrow layover. Keep in mind I hate plane travel and have a great deal of anxiety, but was willing to work with him until he compounded the problem and delayed so long. Eventually I just broke down crying. We've spreadsheeted and budgeted, but there's just no getting around the cost, lack of hotels, lack of seating on the plane. I even went and looked at other flights and various convoluted ways of getting there within his wanted dates and it was a no go. I am crushed, and his parents will be crushed. He said everything was so much more simple in 2015, I laughed and said we're a long way from that time. But he is right in a way, a long time even before 2015 we were both very accustomed to flying, the prices were not that inflated, and they weren't nickel and diming you, there wasn't a pandemic.

Today he tells me it's okay, he'll have to skip his event, perhaps we can just try in the fall.... the very time I said it would likely be more doable and affordable when I first looked into it and I could have booked it long ago..... Bless him, my husband is a man of big ideas and ambition, but not this time. My anxiety has been through the roof, and now we're still going to disappoint his parents when I clarify no we really aren't coming at the date you thought we were that was not definite at all. Hopefully I can smooth it over with later this year, provided he gets no crazy ideas.

I can't even imagine the prices of tickets. We drive up to Canada and that is expensive enough. No way could we afford the cost for 5 on a plane. Plus where we need to go there is no direct flight and the layovers make it take close the to the same time it takes to drive.

Thrilling Wednesday report, see man:

Bad weather was forecast for mid- or late morning, girlw man.

It struck mid-morning, wind and monsoon man.

Ex-Mrs.-T-B. had already set out for her office, empresaria ex-she man man.

Ex-she man called/texted us Many00 times to ask if we would take Mini-B. to our casa, si man.

Ex-she man was quite aysheep with worry about the weather, si man.

We therefore agreed, si man.

Mini-B. hadn't showered yet, no man.

We waited, then went into the monsoon in the T-B.-mobile, si man.

Lunch was BK drive-through WUOC, ingest financially savvy we man.

After this (at noon), a siesta was taken, zzz we man.

When we awoke, the sun was out, bye monsoon man.

We ran a couple of errands, si man.

Soon thereafter, we retrieved Mini-B. for Two Guys eve, Two Guys man.

We went to Subway, sick of BK already we man.

Mini-B. stayed in the T-B.-mobile while I went in to order, si man.

We saw the young Cubana workerette in there, si man.

We decided to practice our Spanish with her, si man.

We did rather well but for forgetting the word for "pickles," :bonk:   man.

The other workerette (bilingual) had been eavesdropping and said, "You're getting there, si man," si man.

We said, "Our head hurts from all this Spanish, ouch man," si and ouch man.

Din-din was obviously Subway*, ingest Two Guys man.

Movie night included Many episodes of Everyone Hates Chris, watch Two Guys man.

Many (2+2) bowls of Costco popcorn were consumed, ingest Two Guys man.
