Can I bring my mobile phone to the interview of immigrant visa at the MTL Consulate ?

Does the consulate（MTL) have a place to store my mobile phone during the interview?

if possible, is there a fee

No phones in the USCIS interview area.  I believe there's lockers. Easiest is to just leave it at your hotel.

Yes you can bring it upto the security point. Then they will ask you to put in the security lockers (depending on availability).

Thank you for your answers, so will there be a lot of people going to interview every day?  Need to line up an hour or two early?  Or as suggested, just arrive five minutes early?

The MTL Consulate has a lot of small lockers, about the size of a palm, and there are plenty of them. You can rest assured to bring your mobile phone there.
